As local organiser and Treasurer of the ETRS, I have pleasure in inviting you to the 20th Annual Congress of the European Tissue Repair Society.

The congress will be held from 15-17 September 2010 in Gent, a beautiful medieval city in Belgium. The location of the congress is “Het Pand”, a former abbey in the historical center of the city.

The congress will comprise plenary sessions with renowned experts on:

There will be exciting competition for the congress prizes, which will be awarded for best poster and best presentation and there will also be, for the first time, an ETRS 2020 session, organised with and for young scientists, by a newly established ETRS Junior Committee.

Moreover there will be a parallel day for clinicians on Friday 17 September, to be held in cooperation with the Belgian wound healing organisations AfiScep, CNC and WCS.

With all these professional attractions, plus a delightful social program in a beautiful location, we anticipate an excellent attendance from colleagues in Belgium, Europe and abroad.
